KV65 WWO - this is my *actual* Volvo V60 Polestar !!

how has it held up all these years? I've got my eye on a 2014 silver one, with 53k miles for £20k, worth buying?
@iandavidson998 ай бұрын
Yup, it's been awesome! Mine (the one in the video) is no on about 45k miles. Those who have them love them. They're different! Glad you're looking at the 3L and not the later 2L one - they sound AMAZING! Make sure you get the Rebel Blue too one! It's a heavy car (1700-1800kg) and brake discs are v expensive, but that's about all really!

@@iandavidson99 The one I'm looking at is silver sadly, but doesn't look too bad, would've loved rebel blue! How are the Ohlins dampers holding up on yours? That being an expensive part is the only thing I'm worried about, especially since I get extended warranty on used cars, and this being a 2014 won't have one 😬 But totally worth it for that straight six haha

@@Arman-nl6mg My Ohlins have been fine - never had an issue with them :) The one you're looking at isn't AV65 ZKP is it? On the Group someone has point out this Silver one just up for sale

I was shocked that an all out performance car would have such soft sidewalls. I'm hoping that in 2021 tires are better designed for these forces...

what race car driving did he do again? 4wd truck driving over hills at paris dakar?? does this guy know anything about avoiding driving over cutters? he basically drove the car with all 4 wheels in every infield he could find.

Do you know anything about BTCC? Evidently not or you might realise why they're doing that when they're trying to highlight the synergies between this and the BTCC car
@ardie7211 ай бұрын
@@gardenogauge do I need to know about BTCC ? Do you know about F1? Gimmie a break dude..he didn't touch the apex, he drove over it, and unsettled the car for vanity video and not efficient driving. Just because you have a hard on for his glory days , doesn't mean he's any better than a novice driver today.,proof in point is his driving style. I counted least three seperate times he got two wheels on the grass.....you saying this is appropriate driving?? On grass with two wheels?
@gardenogauge11 ай бұрын
@@ardie72 The cars regularly used to make contact and these were the sort of lines that drivers would take to move up a position, i.e. finding space that wasn't really there at the expense of unsettling the car. You would regularly see cars on two wheels. It's promo video, not an instructional video or a "vanity" video. They weren't there to set a lap time. You're just missing the point.

Cool video and all, but they said almost nothing about the car...

True, more about volvos history and how this car came about, pointing to the 850s predecessor. The 850 t5 is my all time favourite estate/wagon so I enjoyed this video but learned little about the v60 polestar. That being said I would have the v60 polestar over an audi or BMW...I like to call it the potent Swedish turbo ambulance wagon

"6 Cylinders".......?????? How can the video and comments get it sooo wrong? It's a 2 litre "4"
@afh76897 жыл бұрын
kwempe This video is from 2015. The 2016 model year had a 6-cylinder engine and 6-speed transmission. For 2017, it was replaced with a 4-cylinder engine paired with an 8-speed transmission.
@kwempe7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for that, I didn't realise they changed the engine so much....I retract my comment! :)
