you dont have to turn on and off ignition, the glow plugs will stay on even tho the glow light is not on

@@McAmber yeah, i usually turn on the ignition for 20-30seconds and then just start it. depends on how cold it is

In many cases, glow plugs will keep on glowing for few minutes even after the engine has started, to decrease the noise and to increase efficiency with better combustion. So yeah, no need to cycle your glow plugs, unless it's an older diesel. Modern ones has fully automatic glow plug control.

the glow plugs will still stay opn even tho the glow sign goes off, you dont have to turn on and off, just leave ignition on for 30sec
