Volvo XC90 - Intake swirl lever broken off actuator by EMD Porsche

What if I just replacr that little plastic arm that holds it - as having a same issue - also just to make sure - when I step on gas and let go my foot off fast makea weird like squierky noise - so its whirl flaps right? Just hope I dont have to replace all as in Switzerland very expensive to do so! 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

The exact same lever on my XC90 is also cracked. I have superglued it back and it is holding. However, the lever can be simply, popped off with leverage and popped back on with long-nose grip pliers. I do not see any reason to take anything else off to do this. Please correct me if I am wrong - as I am no expert and have only come across this problem today.

Did you have to remove all the injectors etc too replace

@@MalavDesai Is it not enough to just put back that little arm that is disconnected? I get a weird noise when taking my foot off pedal, I already put back that little arm that holds it, so does it mean I have to replace whole swirl flaps kit?

Would this cause the car to go into limp mode

This problem made my car go into limp mode and would reset it by restarting the engine after a short while. The problem (in my case) was caused by excessive gas pedal at higher revs. Mostly if trying to go uphill (fast) or shooting off from start!
