a question, what things matter most in the game when it comes to increasing stars, winning the match, or just kills and deaths? I honestly don't understand how MMR works, I can win several matches by killing more than I die and still not see any progress (I am relatively new, I have gone up to 4 stars and down several times) 😅

@@hurrsia The problem is it only takes one shot to immobilize a player. They're forced to get behind cover to stop the burn, in which case you can shoot them again, or they can try to kill you as quickly as possible before burning out. Even if a player successfully retaliates, they may still be 2 or 3 bars down after the engagement. The issue is that the burn happens too quickly and one direct impact causes a bar to disappear completely. This doesn't give players enough time to respond. You can say "just get gud" or "get better teammates" but this doesn't help in scenarios where you are caught off guard and/or playing as a solo and unable to depend on your teammates to protect you if you get burned behind cover. It was more manageable when the supply cache was in the middle of the map which allowed teams/solos to replenish their bars. A team of three using dragonfire together is the definition of a cheese strategy.
