Thank you thank you thank you. This really simplifies. +-4 degrees for ground checks +-6 degrees for airborne checks, except for VOR1/VOR2 check. I've not heard it explained this way and had a tough time getting it to stick when studying for my IFR written. Awesome!

do you know about NDB ? i'm asking because in brazil we've been using that , and this is too outdate
@GarryWing8 жыл бұрын
+cpt kirk I know they're still used in Alaska & other parts of the world, but there are no remaining NDBs in Southern California (but you can still use your ADF to listen to the ball-game). Going away next: VOR's, then RADAR, then Transponders. It's a GPS / ADS-B world, and I couldn't be more excited!
@Jetairplane8 жыл бұрын
+Garry Wing Hi, I read that ADS-B is required in all aircraft by 2020, is that true?
@GarryWing8 жыл бұрын
+UAV Flyer Yes, _as of_ *1/1/20* (think of it more as late 2019...); anywhere a Mode C transponder's req'd today will require ADS-B Out (In is optional).
