Just an observation , the AC is heading 230, the VOR must reverse sense as it cannot home with a heading of 230 with OBS 240 whichis outbound...in this case there seems to be an ambiguity

If aircraft is headed outbound then it will be normal sensing as the radial selected is also outbound. Reverse sensing will happen if aircraft is headed inbound on a HDG of say 060 but radial selected is 240 outbound.
