Hey Vex really love the way you show and explain each deck. It gives a understand how it will play out as well with the goldfishing at the end. Please keep it up! Can't wait to build this

I started magic about 3-4 months ago playing standard with a +1/+1 counters deck with vorinclex. Since the player base is a lot more active in EDH, i began looking for decks and this one looks like so much fun

@Liam Lindsay, welcome to EDH. This deck is a great deck to start commander with.

Umm, Vorinclex, MR won’t double the actual loyalty upticks apparently, because they’re costs. (I was disappointed, too.) You get the double initial loyalty counters, of course. I keep tinkering with my list, because I have a problem fitting Interaction after getting the guts of the deck together. I ended up cutting Loyal Guardian due to how often Vorinclex is off the field due to removal. I love Rampaging Baloth, but I couldn’t find room for both it *and* Herd Baloth, which I can back up with Scurry Oak for Ivy Denizen. The new Bristly Bill, Spine Sower is insanely useful at getting initial counters on things, and it’s 5 mana double all counters AA is a game-ender. Champion of Lambholt is incredibly effective at getting through. Glad to see another Karametra’s Acolyte enjoyer. :) I have to recommend Throne of Eldraine. You can curve into it, then drop one of your numerous 4-drops immediately. No Rogue’s Passage? Great video. Loved that you brought attention to Polukranos. It’s tough to find the room, but Vanilla Vorinclex has done right by me. As has Tempt With Discovery. It’s not hard to get one opponent to go along, so that’s two any-land searches for the same 4 mana. I love it, because even on the rare occasion I get shut down, I’m still tutoring for Nykthos or Oran-Rief the Vastwood. Pir, Imaginative Rascal’s Hardened Scales-ability applies to Walkers and all counters just like Vorinclex and Doubling Season. I love him.

Awesome deck. I've been trying to make a more stable superfriends deck for a while and vorinclex is doing the trick. Just yesterday I ulted my nissa, got all my forests in play and next turn I put a hydra with 40 counters an ugin with 21 loyalty and still 6 forests untapped when my opponents scooped
@vex_mtg3 жыл бұрын
@Yuri Contreras, yeah have Vorinclex in the command zone really helps with superfriends.

Looks a pretty solid commander, usually the problem with planeswalkers is that they are killed before they can be useful, Vor should solve the problem, nice deck!
@vex_mtg3 жыл бұрын
Totally agree @Kylie.92, the planeswalkers in my super friends deck never survived a turn cycle, but with Vorinclex, they get to ultimate immediately 😈.

Hey dude I’m really trying to build this deck but do you think u could make a budget version of this deck I love vorinclex but a lot of these cards are out of my budget.
@vex_mtg3 жыл бұрын
@Eric Anunobi, I think you can use the shell I have, remove the tutors, expensive hydras, Craterhoof, other Vorinclex, and other expensive cards.

Ok sounds good do u have a discord where I can ask u more direct questions or something.

love your deck techs! I like to be able to see the physical card and the bling lol Do you have a Kelsien, the plague deck?
@vex_mtg3 жыл бұрын
Thanks @Bentley Welch. I currently don't have a Kelsien, the Plague deck. I'm working on having one deck of every color combination and my Mardu deck I have is Queen Marchesa.

Great deck, been wanting to build the boy Vorinclex myself since i pulled him from my prerelease pack. Can't decide between a counters theme like yours and the mean infect variant

would replicating ring counters be doubled? If so its a 4 turn 8 mana gain
@vex_mtg2 жыл бұрын
That is correct, really good card in the deck.
@BristlyBill3 жыл бұрын
I feel like you probably explained this, but what are the snow covered forests for? Do they interact with a specific card?
@lebbrin3 жыл бұрын
The only thing I can see is Into the North. A two mana ramp spell that lets you search for a snow land. It could also be to potentially take advantage of other players running something like Extraplanar Lens. One guy in my playgroup runs that and snow lands. If he uses a snow forest, then my regular forests don't tap for double. So I run snow forests.
@vex_mtg3 жыл бұрын
@Marcus, it's basically for Into the North and also because Kaldheim was a snow set, so I wanted to be on theme. Also as @Gene mentioned, snow-covered lands in EDH are generally better because of people running Extraplanar Lens.
@BristlyBill3 жыл бұрын
@@vex_mtg i was wondering how that card worked. and why it cant just imprint regular forest. im just getting back to magic for the first time in 10 years and vorinclex caught my eye.
@vex_mtg3 жыл бұрын
@Marcus, you can imprint any land and it will add extra mana when any player taps the land with the same name, even your opponents. It's usually more advantageous to imprint a Snow-Covered land because less players run them (because $) and you're running all Snow-Covered lands.

Hey, I know this is an only video, and probably you know this by now. But when you +1 one of your PW, it will only get 1 +1, as the plus 1 is an activation cost
@stephenharper1662 Жыл бұрын
This is not true. You're still placing counters on the pw, so they will be doubled.
@lestatmusatcamus Жыл бұрын
@@stephenharper1662 You are absolutely right, I got to learn this after I built a Vorinclex deck myself. Forgot about this comment until now haha
