I had issues with my rear brake squeaking but it went away when I wiped the rotors with a dryer sheet dipped in 70% isopropyl alcohol. It's starting to come back now, I think the pads are just poor quality. I'll probably just switch out the entire brake system to hydraulics when my pads give out. Good luck from a fellow V2 owner out in California!
