@geraldfer2 жыл бұрын
@@COURTNEYCOLE1000 Hi and thanks for asking me for insight on this. From my experience it is better to get the simulator and get your eyes trained a bit before you buy the actual transmitter and plane. And as he showed... your controller should be based off of how many parts you need to move....elevators, flaps, retractable wheels...RTH(return to home) feature. Then you can see where your at dollar wise on the plane. The guy I also follow is RC Sailor. He and his wife do really good write ups on budget planes and what you can expect when you get the controller as well as the RC. I hope this helps. Have a great one

Clear easy instructions, with practical tips narrated in an easy attitude 👌. I wanted to see what "bigginer" videos were like compared to when I started out. Facing in the general direction of the plane's flight, is a great way of syncing your perceived orientation to how the plane is flying. Especially when it's approaching. The best way to learn is in real life for several reasons. 1. It teaches you how to work with the plane, put it together, install the battery, what battery to use, etc. 2. It is easier to see how far away the plane is. 3. It teaches you how to fix the plane when you crash.

Hi I’m new to flying and recently brought the max thrust v2. I have had one lesson with my club and just wondering when turning left or right do you keep the turn on before applying elevation as my plane seems to drop slightly on the turn or I’m over turning to compensate. If that makes sense.

I had Phoenix but I may get Real Flight. Phoenix isn't supported anymore and likely because it uses a real transmitter. It was a real battery hog. I'd rather have a controller powered by USB even if it's not an actual controller. Great suggestions on using a simulator. I spent a lot of time on mine before I bought my plane and it saved me a lot of time spent repairing planes.

I have my students start out by flying figure eights over the field, making their turns away from the pit area. This gets them used to making both left and right turns plus they won't accidentally fly over the pit area if they can't finish the turn before crossing over the runway. Also, when the plane is flying toward them, I don't have them look over their shoulder. I have them face the plane, move the aileron stick toward the low wingtip and say, "Get up wingtip". This method also works when the wings are level. Just move the stick toward the tip that you want to raise. It also will work later on when they're flying inverted toward themselves. I don't really think left or right when flying toward myself.

Thanks for the video. I came here looking for a basic tutorial for beginners on what all the sticks do in relation to plane movement. I was hoping for something extremely basic like what direction to move aileron sticks for turns so I had to carefully watch what the plane was doing in relationship to the sticks. What I surmise, is right hand turns are simply accomplished through moving right aileron stick to right, and left for left turns. Do you have a video that goes through these even more basic concepts?

I wanted rudder-elevator on right stick (pull back for "up"), ailerons on left stick, throttle (pull back or push forward, haven't decided yet) on left stick. Realizing I might have to replan this layout, is it an OK format? With peddles on the floor and push-pull , turn left and right steering wheel (in a real plane), which is rudder?, ailerons? I'll quit for now! I'll check for more of your videos. Thanks, tw

@anyonecanfly14044 жыл бұрын
I'm a barely functional newbie but I can tell you the best beginner plane is the Sport Cub S. It's relatively cheap, surprisingly tough and capable of advanced stunts. It's a 2 oz plane - so it doesn't experience a lot of damage in a crash. I routinely crashed mine. 90% of my crashes were due to poor decision making on where and when to fly. Find as big a place as you can to fly in. It's amazing how these little suckers can get away from you. Only fly on NO wind days. Anything above a breath of wind is going to be a challenge Always keep it out in front of you with the sun behind you and never let it fly over or behind you. Ever.
