Anyway, my main question was "are you able to observe flashes of light from sonoluminescence in a dark room when you shake the wasserhammer tube?". You may need dark-adapted eyes to see it if flashes are present.

@@Tyroneneumann Yes! I have one and it works well! I am looking to collect several different kinds of energy focusing devices like this and the water hammer is next if I can confirm it creates sonoluminescence.

@@Muonium1 Hello, I don't know. In its current state, there is only water vapor in the water hammer, which doesn't light up when shaken. You could try filling a water hammer with neon, similar to the mercury tubes. But I don't know if that would work.
