Looks like some perfect yard bird Mags! I did some chicken too! It's been way too long since I used my vortex or done legs! I like to take mine up to about 200 to get them tender. Nice work! Hope you're staying safe back there.

Dang! Those looked delicious! Chicken legs are a personal favorite for me on the kettle. Quick and delicious. Just used a vortex for the first time last week on some chicken wings. It worked fantastic. Now I’ll have to try it with some legs.

Bryan S the Vortex is a beast. Do wings with it. Add some corn starch to your seasoning. Gives you a fried chicken crunch.

I'm confused on why they took an hour and a half to be done. I'm by far no expert as I have just done this same exact set up once, grill, vortex, everything, and mine took about 20 minutes.

ISWITCHED well I did two rounds of legs. One of each seasoning. I also had weather issues which kept my temps down. I also take my legs to between 190 and 200 to crisp the skin. The legs can handle the higher internal without drying out. I could go to the normal 165 and do it quicker. Thank you for taking the time to watch and thank you for your question.
