Ive been lucky enough to see Vortex perform at least a dozen times. Great shows with a lot of headbanging going around. During the live recording from the Holland Heavy Metal album, 20 attenders, the singer jumped on stage, split his pants in two, his dingdong peeped out, stopped the show, left the stage, propably didnt have a spare, everybody had to wait, somehow found a pant and continued the recordings. Great attitude while his wig was wiggling about. Sad Iron, whom also performed, had to do part of their set again due to the classic mistake that noone noticed they'd run out of tape while the band played on. I just love the old days....

I love vortex. This whole album is amazing especially the title track I wonder why they didn't get bigger than they are, because they had everything 🤔 Along with fellow countrymen 'Picture' they represented the Netherlands very well
