Our first key was VP+17...we spent around 2 hours to complete it lol. One thing i can say for sure: Blizzard hate healers xD

Yeah it was definitely pretty overtuned on season start, luckily it seems a lot better now after a few nerfs.

​@@TactyksTrust me, while it may be better, that is only noticeable in established groups. I see most people fail the mechanic on the second boss, sucks as a healer cause we get blamed despite players literally not doing mechanics 😂

@@texaskeeton1772 Oh yeah that's bound to happen for the first few weeks while people go in with limited knowledge of how things work, but just like other seasons I don't think it'll be as big an issue down the line.

Just wanting some general advice here. So I Tank as a Blood DK, and got a +15 VP key. I kid you not, I went through 7 different groups, and every time we hit Altairus we'd wipe and the group would fall apart. I follow your videos on various dungeons, and it seems that Tanking him in the center of the arena is best (I think you even said so in your other video?). My question is is do you need to point him away from the group overall? Or as long as everyone is moving they should be fine? It seemed to me that in most groups I ran it with they didn't want to move around as much, but me, I moved around constantly dodging his abilities and was always last alive 🤷🏻‍♂️

This fight can be a tough healer check so as a tank there unfortunately isn't a ton you can do. We usually keep the boss mostly stationary close to the centre, and everyone just needs to move to get the wind buff or to avoid the random target breath attack. Aside from that not much else to focus on as a tank for this boss.

I like how Tactys says a +20 is such a low key level you don’t need to use defensives for chain lightning. +22 is the highest key I’ve ever done 😂

Hahaha mostly just relative to what the highest keys are gonna be this season, in the grand scheme of things +20s are still the top ~1% of the playerbase!

Amazing videos as always.. I watched all your advanced guides. As a healer it helped me understand so many of these trash pulls and where exactly to convey my group to use defensives. @Tactyks What is the addon y'all use that announces people having debuff like "chain lightning on me". I use Elvui, DBM and Plater addons.

Glad you found it helpful! The addon I use for that is Littlewigs, which is basically equivalent to the dungeons module for DBM, so you can configure it to do a similar thing just by emphasizing certain spells and abilities and change the position around in the anchors.

I pugged my way to a +18 vortex pinnacle on day one and holy shoot it was so over-tuned. Ended up finally beating it at +14. Worked that key back up but was given a +18 Neltharions lair lol. Happy to hear about some of the nerfs though the difference between VP and NL and the rest of the dungeons felt pretty huge.

Yeah, really happy with how quickly we've seen tuning on the outlier dungeons, think you could probably argue to a slight nerf to Asaad (either health nerf to the adds or only having 1 between each supremacy cast), but otherwise it feels pretty fair now!

@@Tactyks I think either works as long as the "cut" add is the second one. You pretty much need at least a minor dps cd up for the 2nd of every set because of how close it spawns to the Supremacy casts that if it doesn't die beforehand it is just an auto wipe due to melee uptime.

As a healer I had the problem that the add dmg and the boss dmg overlap to a unhealable level. I don't understand how to prevent that? Does the boss dmg trigger on a hp % of the boss?

Unfortunately everything is timer based, so those bad overlaps are always gonna happen and your group will need to rotate through offensive, defensive, and healing CDs to get through those adds

I was paly in Shadowlands and went warrior in dragonflight. Im loving warrior but anything 18 plus seems to destroy me, i cant out sustain big pulls

So a trick I figured out is if you use Devine toll AS SOON as they start casting the lighting you will interrupt 4 in a row with out any one else help.

Thats Method Raid Tools, fantastic addon! Another popular one is OmniCD both will do a similar thing just with a different look.

@@wowcnmovie Yeah if you go into the options there's a cooldown tracking section and you can add what you want to track and how it shows up (organizing by column for example).

Notice the edits on the last boss. Those novas need their hp and spawn rate nerfed.

Would love to see there be a single nova per phase for sure, having to deal with 2 at their current HP value feels like a bit much.

I think this is actually the worst M+ dungeon in history. There is nothing good or fun in that key. It is just bad and not even easy, like Shadowmoon, which was terrible too, but a free key atleast.

Whats the difference between kick and stomp?

A kick is just any interrupt, whereas a stop is any form of CC that prevents a cast, so a stun, disorient, fear, etc. Not all casts are stoppable, but what I mean when I say that are abilities where their cooldown triggers when the cast starts, like cyclone in the first area, so if you use a CC on them they'll go back to casting their bolts and won't recast cyclone til it comes off cooldown, even though you never interrupted it.
