The child hood friend story made me feel sad. I had a best friend around the same age as you and I was the one who moved to another continent, we wrote to each other ( hand written letters, snail mail) but eventually we lost touch. Another point about friendships is, that a true friend will bring you up when you feel down but will also be happy for you successes.

Intriguing, you are the first person I know, who appreciates Led Zeppelin and rates them highly (it's the best band in the world, imo) and at the same time you have Oasis as the absolute favourites. It's night and day, musically. Oasis is actually on my list of the worst bands ever. I can't stand them. They are not as bad as, say, U2, but close.
