VOSKER V300 Outdoor Security Camera Review

We used 4 V200s and 6 V300s on two construction sites and they were terrible. In their defense, our cell coverage is challenging at best. But the MTBF is really poor for non-cellular issues. Vosker tech support is top-notch, and they happily replaced a few cameras under warranty that quickly stopped working properly. Several had colored image problems or just plain died. They captured photos but didn't transmit them. Image quality and the online interface was good. But even after adding the high-gain external antennas we couldn't resolve the connectivity problems reliably. They'd work for a day or two and stop sending images. Not reliable.

Video seems to be an instruction manual on how to set up the device. Nothing is said on how it communicates with you need Wi-Fi or cellular service made me this is an instruction manual for people who already bought it.

Hi, the camera comes with a pre-activated SIM card that you can easily set up and use wherever there is network reception.

How long do the batteries last without using the solar panel? I’m trying to record for 12 to 24 hours. Will the batteries allow me to do that?

The camera has a built-in battery and a small solar panel itself. I disconnected it from the add-on solar panel and the battery was good for about 5 days. It was pretty cold and gloomy out though, so that may have been why the internal solar panel didn't keep it charged for longer.

That screw mount that come with the solar panel is useless, you cant turn the panel onto the threads because the panel hits the tree or whatever your trying to screw it too, and it's difficult to adjust the panel towards the sun unless you bend the mount. you need the screw mount that come with the camera not the one that comes with the panel.

The idea to save power by using an IR/HF Sensor and only wake up the cam when detects motion is great. But the image quality looks like a Cam from 2010. I do not like the cloud feature. I want to be independent. If you cloud set up an own cloud / FTP Server would be better. No fees, no dependence. This should be a minimum feature for a 500$ cam
