the wobbly crown is by design, its so the crown doesn't cause damage to the movement if it gets hit or if pressure goes across it.

That watch looks really good on your wrist. I`m wearing an Amphibia 17099B GMT, which has turned out to be my favorite of the 3 Amphibias in my collection. This one seems to be finished nicer that the other ones, and after fiddling with the setting, has lost between 1 and 2 seconds total for the last 8 days. It can be done! If I had to nitpick, I would say that the corners of the lugs are too sharp, but they have not bothered anything, even after wearing it day and night for the last month. I never used the original bracelet, but put a stainless milanese one on the first thing, very comfortable. I can also recommend the shape of the 170 case for people with smaller wrists who might want to wear a comfortable watch.

What you can do with these is replace the case with a regular amphibia case, the movement slots right in. I ended up going to ebay, bought the 42 model case for about $15, popped the bezel off and slotted the movement in. Carried over the caseback, crown and bezel from the original neptune and it looks and feels great. Super simple to do if you have the time for it.

sorry but you got the non GMT you can tell by the seconds dial , i can even tell by the speed of the second dial hand , sorry the movement on yours is the 2416.02 so check it out

A GMT normally is not slaved to the hour hand. It can be changed independently

@@allthingsrandom8137 Alright, I thought that's what you were talking about. Just keep in mind that this is how the Rolex GMT's started out (in 1954) until the GMT Master 2 came out about 30 years later. So, to me, this 960761 is a traditional - more purist - GMT.

Just received mine today and the small second hand was bent and just floating around in the crystal. You get what you pay for and this watch is not very good in the least. Ordered this from Russia and not eBay or some crap like that. This watch is cheap as chips for a reason and that's because it's SHIT. Besides the problem stated when you unscrew the crown mine has nothing to tell you what position you are even in as nothing clicks for any position at all and I need to put the hell out of the crown to even set the damn time on this crap watch and I mean pull unreasonably hard with no feedback for anything as to what position I am even in. My father passed me down a Omega Speedmaster Professional that he purchased in the late 1970's and other than a service and a crystal replacement every 6yrs or so it has been flawless to this day 43 years later with nothing more than a service,Crystal and a new band! If you want a inexpensive watch that will tell time and be accurate, HELL any Timex,Casio, Seiko will do a much better job at the same price point with more reliability to boot. if you are set on a mechanical automatic movement sorry to say that you will need to spend some money to get a watch that is somewhat accurate and reliable that you can pass down to your children. Do not bother with Vostok as for the same price point you can get a much more accurate ( Generally in this price point it's a Quartz movement) but who cares because at this price point the watch is disposable !
