6:30 no need for an alarm clock. take the regular clock, go outside the front door, and put it on the rail? barrier? on the left, and face it outwards, towards the "camera" that shows your base when you sleep. just wake up at whatever time you want when you see it on the clock lol

5:30 i found that drinking the beer out of the bottle completely makes the game not let you use the empty bottle for the molly. you can take about 8 swigs of the beer in total iirc. take 7 swigs and pour out the rest if you dont like wasting shit. also saving your game stops the drunkenness effect. mind you though, maybe this was fixed, I'm playing on 0.8.0, and 0.8.0d came out 2 days ago as i write this.

Well, if it outputs fuel, it's probably for sustainability in case the supply is temporarily cut off. Plenty of lumber around to chop (theoretically) and now there's reason for the coal chunks left around in supply crates.

Problem with not rushing kerfurO: keep in mind that you have a deadline to get this lil cutie built so you dont have to deal with... Certain entities... Also she frees up time to get signals and clean up the base. Also, SAVE YOUR SIGNALS AT THE START!!! once you get higher processing levels, you can load those saved signals into drives, process them, and re-turn them in!

​​@@Raum2901 There are also random events, like some of them are harmless like fog or darkness, others are creepy like red sky or no sun, but the most dangerous is Bad Sun, where for the whole day the sun is replaced with an incognito hazard and just looking at it or being exposed to it through windows will slowly kill you

@@robincait Its not just shadows from what I can tell. Its in the base. There is heavy lag inside and this is more than likely due to the amount of objects and collisions. I noticed on my own attempt (got the mars bug so Im gonna wait) that basically stuff spawned also in the hidden chamber in your base that you cant access without no clip or use of camera to inspect it through walls and ceiling. It ended up colliding with another object (or got stuck in a wall) leading to constant clanging noises. Safe to say I wont continue that save and its not due to the Mars bug.

update: apparently i had "post processing" and "volumetric lighting" on. i NEVER play votv with these on. in my defence, i hadnt played votv for a while before 0.8.0 released, so i forgot i dont play with them on. i now get at least 100 fps with it on. but it does tend to dip a bit when in my base (for sum reason idk).

I don’t use ATV at all, since when I was playing 0.7.0, it once disappeared to nowhere at day 15 or so, and only at day 40, it was brought back by Rozidal event, when she cleans it with sponge. So I had to go on my two, the whole time between those points. And it’s not that bad actually. I also don’t use the digital map, cuz I memorised the whole thing. Also there’s a funny glitch, when you throw mannequins, that already without stand (so they moved to you on their own.) to cremator for one moment, and then you extinguish them, they will do an endless dance in there, if you’ve put them so they can’t get out. (Prone or half prone.)

Thankfully I played 0.7.0 and got quite far so when 0.8.0 happened I saved myself time by taking everything that I can put into the mailbox and send it to the new save. P.s don't leave kurf-o alone or at least turn her off and put her in a locked room like the side office (the code is 1234) there's a new entity, (corrupt kurf-o) it will take your kurf-o or normal kurf away and won't give it back.

Why is that? The performance is honestly better than 0.6.3 for me, so that can't be the problem (Only custom assets seem to slowdown the game massively if you just have it in the folder. So try deleting all custom assets in your assets folder as it persists even if you delete the game as it is stored in the documents folder by default I believe.)

@@aarchunterontheinternet9918 spoilers ahead ye be warned there is a new, zombie kerfur enemy. not sure if it's random but if you have a kerfur of your own, it may head over to where the zombie version is buried. it will eventually escape (or u can dig it up) and it will start chasing you. the easiest way to kill it seems to be molotovs. its got plenty of health and three phases so best to stock up

@@Fredrickson21 I always had the mouse hovered over the keys so it triggered them, and the inverse was to point at the green button, so that's a bit weird that I have to aim at the frame, but that helps a lot more so thank you. The should really allow hitting enter on the numpad or normal enter tbh
