I tried learning crocheting several times and failed each time. Just like Vox here, I didn't even understand what I didn't understand, I just kept failing and failing and I had no idea why, and that is SO infuriating I got so freaking angry every single time. Never broke any crocheting needles though... But then again, I didn't have a backseat-knitting chat asking where Shoto is either 😶

Yeahhhh fiber arts (regardless of how fun they are once you get the hang of it) can be difficult as hell to learn. I don't even remember learning how to crochet, but I do recall not thinking that I'd ever be able to make sweaters due to how difficult it seemed at the time. It's definitely in part a matter of how much patience you have while learning, as well as an acceptance that it'll pry take a while lmao. That being said, it is still doable, and I encourage everyone who's interested in learning to give it a shot (also yeah chat backseating pry didn't help at all oml)

As a person who started to knit this brought me back to how I started to get super frustrated and it took me multiple tries and many youtube videos later until I was able to perfect it. I only made a scarf so far and currently trying to make a shawl.
