Running that rich I would suggest a heat gun on it to get the proper running temperature

The way I do it is I keep the revs going to heat the engine naturally on its own never had a problem breaking in engines this way once upon a time people didn't preheat engines not even the famous engine tuner Ron Paris did that and there engine came out fine !!!!
