Just to clarify - the door in the campaign had no lock, just a bar on the other side that took 3 of Scanlan's spells (Unseen Servant, Dimension Door and Bigby's Haaaaaaand). Vax, thanks to reliable talent, never actually failed a lockpicking roll (Liam actually rolled a natural 20 at the church door, before he found out that it had no lock to pick). But they still struggled with doors due to other complications. Stonefell was played by friend and guest of the show Darin de Paul, one of Matt's Overwatch costars. He generally dresses in a suit and tie and it's weird to think of that gutteral voice coming from such a genteel looking gentleman.

Yeah, that was the main difference, that it was at a church prior to this sequence, and with them wanting the party room to grow they are a kind of lower power level so no dimension door. I still remember before breaking out Bigby's, Sam making a joke about how this door had cost him two spell slots and four hit points, lol And somewhere Taliesin responding to someone saying "it isn't overkill if it took everything you used."

Additionally no one fell out of a window, there were plenty of low widows they could have broken through, but because it was a Dawnfather Temple that had already been desecrated by the Briarwoods, they didnt want to damage it any further.

As much as I loved the movies as a kid, I tried the books and they bored me to absolute death. I got as far as Tom Bombadil and gave up on them. I respect Tolkien as a source of inspiration for so much good fantasy, but honestly I think the people that came after him improved in terms of writing massively.

Not entirely sure if theres a deeper meaning as its not from the campaign, but it is Sams daughters name so maybe just a subtle shout out to her.

Well it's the nickname that Sam uses for his kid... I don't think any of the cast uses their actual children's names when referring to them online or they didn't when the kids were younger 100 %... The kids who did voice acting in the show though are mentioned in the credits using their actual names.

@@AnxietyRat His daughters codename was "Terminator", Kestrel is the name listed in the credits and while its possible to be a second codename thats less silly and more professional for a little voice actress, I'd say that's her actual name.
