Vox Patris- 55 tonnes the world's biggest swinging bell

So far, only a dozen people have had the chance to hear its unique sound. These are Polish bell founders and experts in acoustics and bell automation - the creators of the world's largest swinging bell, called Vox Patris. On Easter Sunday, the 55-tonne Voice of the Father will resound for the first time for an unlimited number of listeners and viewers.
The Voice of the Father is a true giant! Bear in mind that the world's largest swinging bell, Vox Patris, is the creation of Polish craftsmen and scientists, made for the Brazilian sanctuary of Trindade. The famous place of pilgrimage and healing is currently being expanded, and part of the ongoing investment is a new 100-metre bell tower. It will house a traditional swinging bell of unprecedented size: weighing 55 tonnes, with a diameter of 4.5 metres and a height of over 4 metres. It was built by a consortium of Polish companies - the Jan Felczyński Bell Foundry of Przemyśl and Rduch Bells & Clocks of Rydułtowy. The Polish-Brazilian project has been underway since 2013. Before the 'Vox Patris' bell could ring for pilgrims arriving in Brazil's Trindade from all over the world, tests had to be carried out in Poland.
