Hey guys! This is a built in presets demo of Vox StompLab IIG! It is really good for it's price. I'm just playing random stuff through the presets so expect a lot of shit playing! :D
GEAR USED
Guitar: PRS SE Standard 24VC
Interface: Behringer UM2
Tuning: Drop D
No any post processing/EQ or whatsoever. Guitar goes into the unit which directly goes into the audio interface

You were vid 10 or so. I dumped the others 30 secs in, nothing but yapping. I hope your sponsors appreciate your demonstration. It is exactly what I needed to see/hear. Everything these days is about the human, not the deed. Not a fan of that trend. Selfies should be discouraged with extreme prejudice.. I carry old tomatoes.. But.. HX, no doubt, but my grandson is going to have to pass me up before He gets that kind of birthday gift. This will keep him occupied when hes here, and drive his dad, my son.. Insane when hes home... Is that wrong? Ar r r My wife is here, RIGHT here.. and she is telling me I cant play with you anymore, as you have me thinkin on putting a set of those Seymour Duncans in one of my toys. Can you make a setup so you can switch between two desired sounds (presets) using just one click footswitch?

Yes, you can. The two foot switches here just going up and down a preset. There are about 20ish user presets available. So for example you can have your 2 desired sounds on user preset #1 & #2 (on this pedal it’s called U0 & U1) From U0 clicking one foot switch will bring you to U1 and from here clicking the other one will bring you back. I have just bought a new Vox stomplab IIG; when I put it in chain with a Crybaby wha and a volume pedal, it comes out a noisy twistle from the cabinets; it doesn't happen when I connect only the pedalboard. Somebody could explain how to solve the problem (everything is powered by a multiple connector that goes in the Visual sound 1 spot adapter)

You most probably have a ground loop because of the chain. Use separate power supply for each.

Isolated power is unbelievably quieter. Probably by 80% depending on bad your noise is.

Berk Sarıtaş yes, there is. But you need to create a preset. So you can Choose a wah pedal from pedal menu and enable it. There is no way to turn the wah on/off on the fly with a footswitch.

@@berksartas1862 Sure, you can. But you need to create another preset for that. Everything is based on presets. There are 20 User Defined presets available. You can set them up however you want.

The one thing I hate about multi effects so many presets are not great for gigging musicians. Digitech was horrible.

Well, cheaper units are indeed not gig worthy. But anyway even the presets of higher end ones are still bad and you have to create your own from scratch.

Alot of times the multi effects units are known for deleting user made patches. Nothing worse than showing up to gig and building new patches on the fly

@@makssila3572 Ну смотри, даже если возмешь самую лучшую педаль/проц, через твой 10ваттный комбарь оба не будут особо хорошо звучать. Но по-моему для начала лучше проц....и эффекты есть, и овердрайвы, и wah, и cab sim. Тоесть на репбазе и в пульт можно втыкаться.

This is a really cheap unit so I suggest do not expect much from it. You can get ok-ish metal tones though. But nothing close to the real deal

For me the 2G higher gain tones sound as good as processors costing much more. Heres how it sounds in garageband using Line6 HX stomp as interface (everything on it is off). No processing in post either. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qnOlqmCGmbJ9j6M

Well.... I think yes. You can get some decent tones out of it. Not the best of course, but still, good enough for startling out.

Does it produce noise in Stratocaster??

Don’t have a strat and cannot tell for sure....But strat has single coil pickups which are noisy by themselves already. So it will not surprise me if gainy tones will be noisy. There is a noise reduction section on the unit though. Should do the trick.

You can use headphones with it but the built-in cab sims are not great to say the least. I had a Zoom G3n too, was much better. Sounded decent for it's price, particularly through FX return of an amp. There is a video on my channel playing it. You can check it out, same toe smell guaranteed! :D
