Appreciate the review. I find single bevels a breeze to sharpen with proper tools. I cheat and use a guide. I have budget diamond plates; but I find my Norton water stones get the job done better. I think eight or ten inch diamond stones would be the way to go if regularly bringing nicked single bevels back to a shaving edge.

These heads are as good as it gets and a breeze to sharpen. VPA hit a home run with the Omega!

I was tempted to try these VPA single bevels; but I decided to drop a dime on old school CUTTHROATS instead. I’ve been hunting with TUFFHEADS and IRONWILL single bevels with bleeder blades; and they fly with my field points out to forty yards. Beyond that-the deer gets a pass.

Dude there should be no reason to use 150 grit at all.

That doesn't look hard to sharpen at all. Flat on a bench stone or sandpaper ... done.
