We did a Karl Fisher titration and voltammetry unit in my last semester of the chem tech program. Your videos seem to encourage me to browse eBay for cheap equipment...

Cool data. It doesn't explain those weird traffic slowdowns on I5 but it will be useful in the lab.

It's helpful... Thank you... But please try to elaborate its principal and application... Why we use potentiometer??? Why not other??? Thank you for sharing this experiment with us...👌👌👌

We are planning to do potentiometry to determine chloride using silver nitrate. Can you please suggest the electrode details which you used in this experiment. If you have any brand or cat number please share.

The electrode was Sentix Ag by WTW. You can find the manual on their page. www.wtw.com/en/service/downloads/operating-manuals.html?mobile=912

I'm doing this experiment soon too. Is it okay to use the Cu/CuSO4 as a reference electrode? it's the option at my place right now.

If we add more distilled water to submerge the membrane of the electrode, won't the concentration decreases?
@RaExpIn

Yes, the concentration decreases, but the amount of the halide stays the same. So, the amount of silver nitrate solution, which has to be added, also stays the same. Due to the highly insoluble precipitate it's not a difference if the concentration is changed after taking a sample.

at 1.08, maybe you should say it's the indicator electrode not the ref. electrode. because I know from my university teachers and other videos that the ref. electrode always in the left hand-side. and the E cell is Eright- Eleft...

Yes I agree with you when I started watching I remembered the iupac sign convection in Galvanic cell reference electrode should be at the left side ,
