It sounds great. I put those same pipes on my Softail last year, but replaced those baffles with some quiet baffles a few weeks after. I tried to take them back out and put the original baffles back in, those things are in there from being hot and cold, I’m not sure if they’ll ever come out. The quiet baffles from V&H were so tight, there’ no way I could have installed them without putting them on a grinder and taking some of the diameter down. It’d be nice if baffle were made with a small tab or something that’s bent toward the inside you can stick a tool in there to remove them easier.

You should add what the racers from the 1970s did and make the lollipop inserts, a bolt with the top cut in the middle and weld a washer into the groove that is slightly smaller than the pipes, you install a nut onto it then insert it into the pipe through a hole you drill then add a nut and washer to the outside to hold it, this allows for adjustable backpressure and sound while still sounding like a harley from before the evolution days. And when on a dyno for tuning, you can adjust them for the desired performance. Im new to this channel, or I would have sent this to you when it was first posted. I did this to my evo custom chopper, and it's amazing. There is no need for baffling when this is done. I set my SPCN (Special construction) my bike is 2 of a few choppers I had built. I set up the top of the washer at a 20 degrees of the top of the washer towards the engine. Make shure the hole in the washer size is at least 3/4 inch opening so exhaust can get through, even if the washer has to be modified. And have at least 1/8 inch around the outside of the washer for movement and flow.
