Brilliant! I wish I had found this 40 years ago when I started laying cards as a young hippie chick running around barefoot in Eugene, OR. Remember those days before internet everything? Had to learn from books, by golly! And hopefully, there was a community that you could hang out with which had one or two wise ones involved. (I was lucky. :-) ) And you were really lucky if a new deck arrived maybe once every year or so. Well, those were the days, my friend. You have utterly turned my Celtic Cross readings into something wonderfully flowing and evolving. (Three, 3-cards spreads! Superb!) My deepest gratitude!

I personally really like the traditional cross, I find I can get direct answers with the traditional positions, I think it works very well as it is Personally I don't like the changes you made to it, but if it works for you, all the power to ya I just see alot of patterns in the traditional cross, and it all connects in a very fluid way for me, so it just works, I guess thats why I don't fancy alterations to it Like to me, timing is unncessary to add to the spread, since it will be communicated in the cards themselves, and the context. If you want a more direct communication of that, I suppose there is a use in having a position for it, I just don't see it as necessary In a traditional cross, where 6 is the future position, I find you can draw connections between aspirations (3) and the near future, because you can see if what they're shooting for will pan out. Then, if not, we can look to the staff to find out why not? Maybe they're not going in with the right attitude, maybe they're not going about this right at all. The traditional cross is meant to be explored in this way, where you can draw all these connections and get alot more information than you would expect. Thats just one example of a connection you can draw, theres many more The ONE change I make to the traditional cross is quite similar to the one you make to position 10 I hate using that as like "far future" because 6 is just the future, thats already there, thats the important future, I just see 10 as where the situation is ultimately going. What can we expect, as opposed to position 9 which is what the querent is expecting These may be in agreement, or it may go against how the querent thinks things will go And I call 9 expectations instead of hopes/fears because what are hope and fears but expectations with conviction?

I’m just getting started and I respect your interpretation of the card but what if your interpretation just does not resonate with me?

Hello Kitty. Your question is good! Your interpretation of those cards is what you should trust in. We all see the cards differently. We are all unique and your interpretations will be better for you than using my interpretations. Memorizing what I see in the cards will not help you read as much as using what you see in the cards. You're the reader. Read what you see. Not what I see. Your interpretations are just as good as mine Kitty. Thanks for watching and thanks for allowing me to be part of your wonderful Tarot journey! Hello Vincent. I did a reading for myself, however I still can't get to the meaning or outcome, it seems very mysterious. Question was, what will be the outcome of a future lawsuit? The cards I got were these: 1. The Hierophant 2. The Moon 3. The World 4. Four of Wands 5. Two of Pentacles 6. Seven of Wands 7. The Magician 8. The Empress 9. Queen of Swords 10. Queen of Cups It seems my resource is that I have some choice, the opportunity is to use my confidence. But I'm not completely sure what the outcome says, any insight? Thank you.

Hi Vincent, You did not answer my question? When you have a bad card on position 6 and a good card as an asset? You should make some scenario like that in your next book.
@VPitisci6 жыл бұрын
Hello tesimpa, Yes, there are many different possibilities to card interpretations and it would be impossible to explain them all. But you could see a bad card in position 6 as something you will have the opportunity to overcome and make right. You could make a difference and turn a bad thing into something good because of actions taken.

I've just been watching another Utube Celtic cross demo. In it the guy said card 7 tells you about weather the client is with you or against you - their attitude to the reading so far. If the card is upright they are with you, upside down, they're against you. Personally I think thats nonsence - hillarious in fact, and it totally destroyed my confidence in him as a teacher. However I really like your no - nonsence approach.
