Can we have season 2? This should definitely be an ongoing series. Some people hate short sellers, but they will do the work that the SEC are often too lazy to do. Some of the biggest criminals in the stock market have been put away only because of short sellers

There are no rich short sellers. The famous ones are simply hedge fund managers who got rich from management fees skimmed off the total funds under management. John Hempton is no exception and made his money from management fees and an inflated salary.

11:42 tech companies exaggerate products all the time to garner investment to complete the product. Apple did this with the iphone demo. Surely, there must be more to the story, but this part I’m conflicted on.

Short selling is for fools . You can make a lot more money buying low and selling high than Shorting high and buying back low. The simple reason for this is that you can buy more shares at a cheaper price and less shares at a higher price with the same amount of money .
