I had never heard this synth before and now I want it! Sounds really good and is packed with features; you could get lost for hours at a time.

You'll absolutely get lost for hours playing with it. Theres so much to in it, so many types of synthesis. I wanna write a track only using avenger, that would be a lot of fun!

The sky's the limit for avenger. It's got so much stuff packed into it and patches always come out sounding great. The drum kits that ship with avenger are really high quality too. Def more avenger stuff planned for the future! 🤙

As a real synth novice I love how fantastic the ui is. You can pretty much do anything with this instrument. At its most basic I’ve been making old mobile ring tones for short film. Fast.

check out the little DICE next to the numeric sequence parts in the ARP section. You can also have multiple ARPs and have them assigned to multiple OSCs. That's how they build their sequence patches. You can have a whole beat in one patch with multiple parts and also the plugin has multiple-outputs so you could bounce and mix it in a DAW on seperate channels, etc. Also many panels have preset selectors. ARPs for example have lots of presets with premade melodies to try or FX have many presets for different scenarios and so on.
@jonaudio Жыл бұрын
I love the randomize section of the Arp. It's probably one of the coolest arps I've seen in any synth out there. Avenger is super inspiring!!
@michail_7773 ай бұрын
Cool, but I haven't found a way to keep the section/arpeggiator settings but change the instrument itself. Of course can save a preset, but it would be nice as in ANA 2.5, you click on the “lock” all the settings remain, but changes the sound of the instrument.

never got into avanger as it has a more "club" oriented sound set. though I must say its one of the big ones. Maybe one day I dig into...maybe. Got plenty of synths to work with for now
@jonaudio Жыл бұрын
Totally understandable. A lot of times I'll skim through factory presets to see how other sound designers program stuff more than use the patches in tracks. I love the depth avenger has to offer

hi Jon, avengr 2 is realy a great multi instrument, only downside is that i hate everything edm, i'm more of a 70s and 80s man something like the new 70s library for nexus 4, sadely, i have version 3, just upgrading for this one library would be stupid since nexus is from the same makers who made avenger, i hope they will one day transfer the libraries from N4 to avenger always a pleasure to see you work man, cheers
@jonaudio Жыл бұрын
That'd be cool if they transferred those sounds! The presets are great in avenger, im mostly blown away at how deep you can go making them. I love those types of synths

Would you say its as good as UVI Falcon as I cant get enough of Falcon?
@jonaudio Жыл бұрын
It's absolutely up there with falcon. As you know can can have unlimited modules as much as your computer can handle. Avenger does have a limit but the limit is quite a lot. To me avenger kind of reminds me of falcon with a quicker UI. Falcon can get up to where ever you want to go, but it does take a little more time to program.

Paying for more updates yuck!
@jonaudio Жыл бұрын
Yeah I feel you. Being an FL user, and a blender user (3D program) I've gotten so used to free updates and it's so nice. But on the other hand I do see how companies still have to be paid for the work they put in. It's a tricky balance for sure. There's a program I really like called substance designer and I'd have to buy it every year for 150 dollars which really sucked, I felt like in their case it was a little too much so I just use a older version.
