Sorry I'm a few hours late for my Saturday upload. Hope you like this new video format! Btw, what's the craziest thing you've done in VR?

I've never played VR chat, be sick to experience it with you one day, don't you need an avatar to play, I can't really afford to buy one :( other than that it looks awesome!

The biggest problem with VR is that it's a huge Time Sink. Every Time I get into it, 3 to 5 hours goes by, and what adult really has that much spare time these days. I mean I love it, but just knowing I've got other things to do makes me avoid jumping in. Few people actually use it for productive and essential things.

I love using my quest 3 as an everyday alternative to my laptop or phone. My only problem with VR is the isolating feeling. Whether I’m playing, studying, or relaxing in VR, I feel like people avoid me and leave me in my own little bubble, which is fine, but it can feel like others are uncomfortable or even bothered because it’s strange to see someone with a screen on their face, especially in public. Over time people may get more used to it, but I don’t see that happening any time soon.

I feel this. I was testing one of our Flat2VR Studios games at the airport in mixed reality and I could see people looking at me funny 😅 They're just jealous they're not playing VR at the airport haha

I've found myself spending almost every day in VR and mixed reality but the main driver has been studying for my college work. I think in the metaquest 3 productivity has been super underrated

Have you ever held a meeting in a game? I have done a few Walkabout Mini Golf meetings. Very fun to do that since it's chill and slower paced.

I've been at this level of life-integration with VR and various headsets for years now, but your usage-example for journaling is totally novel and inspirational to me.

Cool video. I randomly bought a Quest 2 during the pandemic at launch as I had a gift card to use and was bored. Fast forward 3+ years, my gf has a Quest 2, I have a Quest 3 and two PCVR capable PCs. Super excited to see where things go.

I love what you’re doing in this video. I feel like those of us who have embraced VR are living in some altered reality. I have been using VR headsets since 2017 and most of my entertainment and socializing are derived in virtual reality. And help me through the pandemic And has made my life so much more enjoyable since I retired. I live on limited budget, but I can do so much more in VR that I don’t notice it. I have tried to share the technology with with IRL friends and family, but have had no success. I’ve even sent them headsets that they just can’t get into. But this is just like in the 90s when I was into computers and they just didn’t see the purpose. The jump from bulletin board systems to the Internet was so magnificent. When the same job happens with virtual reality, we will be ready to embrace it. I can’t wait and it can’t happen fast enough. Keep up the good work.

One thing I wish they'd do is allow smudging of the pencil marks for shading. But otherwise, solid (random) app that I encountered!

welcome to the vr nexus. i have spent entire 10 months in vr, sleeping and eating and all. took it off only to shower and stuff. everybody gets that vrchat phase. it's a rite of passage. i also work in vr now 3d modelling and making music and painting and all.

Spending all my time in VR was so much easier during the pandemic. Now I have a bit more of a balanced lifestyle. But I can easily sink in a ton of time if I find something new I like.

@@VRwithJasmine saaaame i just loved being surrounded by ppl in vr and sleeping cuddled up together and stuff during the pandemic. i still dont have anywhere to be irl cause i work from home and i live in a really rural place with nowhere to go. but i've learned to be a bit more balanced too unless i'm hyper fixating on vr competitive shooters like x8 or breachers, then i'm playing for 7 hours straight on average till my feet are killing me. but it's so much work out it's good for me too.

@@VRwithJasmine lol if you dont want to get trapped in vr again stay away from skyrim vr, fallout vr and cyberpunk vr or even valheim vr. you'll forget real life once you get stuck in those.

What do you like about watching media in the AVP vs other headsets? Other than meetings and journaling do you also use other productivity apps or do you still also use a desktop?

do you sometimes get to a point where the available experiences don't necessarily excite you any longer? For example, whenever a new app or game came out a few years ago it was exciting but now it is more of an evaluation if it is going to be worth your time?
