Great！but, the biggest issue is ~1 pixel white border or gap around every object. In your demonstrate, the issue can not happen, because BG is opaque. If remove BG you can see the ~1 pixel white border. In AE it can remove when import footage, but in PS I do not know. Can you help me understand? TKS!

For the city render why not use use by material name for cryptomatte then you're grouping mattes by assigned material?

How did the normal and position passes come in this automatically, as i didn't see any vray sampler info in your render elements 🤔🤔???

Well this looks comparable to the old psd-manager Plugin, you could activate for years in 3ds max. One single thing that i would like to know here.. you allways save out the EXR file from the vray framebuffer by hand. But in many cases sending Images to a renderfarm is needed in professional work. So how does this work using the backburner? As far as i have seen, using EXR as an outputfile from the Vray Renderdialog, doesnt save out the right masks? am i wrong? If so you would have to wait for each Rendering to finish, and manualy save the exr and manualy start the next renderjob, which is worse as it was using the psd manager.. Otherwise this is a free plugin.

Not watched video as yet - but i'd have thought sending to farm and saving as vrimg format then downloading and re-opening in the vfb bypasses that issue?

Cryptomatte is a much more advanced matting technology than usual raster masks. OpenEXR automatically extracts very accurate masks out of cryptomatte data (as it respects refraction, DOF blur, Motion blur etc.) without the need to anything manually. Masks can be black&white or transparent with respect of AA.
