there's an even better way to do this if you have muscle animation editor or something similar. you can animate your armature to go either up or down some ridiculous value like 1000000000. you can copy and paste this to any humanoid avatar afterwards as well without having to edit it. you'll want to change the Y value of property "Animator.Root T". disclaimer: you'll probably want to put this in your locomotion layer with an anystate transition to avoid having any of those anims override the changes to this property.

Would that also force your name tag to go into the floor as well so that you are truly hidden?

@@Myder_Dragon Now it does, before it wouldn't. The name tag follows your head now instead of being in a fixed location based on avatar height. This is technically against the rules, so use with caution and only around your friends. Also, it turns out you _don't_ need muscle animation editor but it's much more annoying to find this property without it.

You can go to websites like vrcmods.com/ and find people that upload guns / other props. Then its like adding anything else to your avatar!

My first few attempts, Everything was fine in Unity but VR chat wasn't showing the option to go invisible. Going back to unity, I noticed no Avatar was selected in the animator. It wouldn't let me use my model (Which was a generic single boned rig) but I could use "damageSphereAvatar." Now it works.

There is a way where you can make it so, if you press the index trigger slowly, the eyes will animate depending on how much pressure you put on/off of the trigger... -If needed, I can show a video of an avatar doing such thing, to help sum up what I'm talking about better? (But don't feel like you HAVE TO do this tutorial, its only if you want) -Thank you

Im dying to figure out how to make a halo/preadator cloaking/invisibility effect and i cant find any good tutorials, just one where its just invisible materials with a slight texture

You could use poiyomi with the tranparant or grabpass settings and add a noise map to make it look shiftyish

@@meowie2125 What? I may not fully understand what you are trying to say / ask The reason we made the "Hold" object is because if we toggle ALL the mesh renderers, our avatar would bug out and perminently disable We only make the "Hold" object to hold a mesh renderer on.

You can make your own parameter list almost every avatar should come with parameters, and if it doesnt just make them by right clicking on the assets board (the bottom of your/my screen)

Yeah, sadly the only other way would be to use a matswap to an invisible material.

The animations folder was made by the creator, yours may be named differently or such. In the end as long as you have an FX layer, it does not matter what the folder is named

Yup! you could use poiyomis dissolve in combo with the animation (play the dissolve first, then toggle the mesh renderers)

@@PxINKY Did not work for me either. When I try to toggle the Inv nothing happens in the Gesture Emulator. I double checked to make sure my Animations are set correctly and they play right. I also made sure to My toggles and animator was setup like yours. Also May I suggest going a little slower on your tutorials as I was following along and had to stop and reverse several times to catch the settings and screens.

​@@MFIAmy sorry to hear that the video is too fast for you. There are a couple of reasons why this could happen Are the bools exactly the same in both the FX layer and in your Param List? Did you select the right bool when making the menu toggle? Are your entry / exit states set up right (one true, one false) As by the sounds of it, something is wrong along the way and its causing it not to work
