bro i was there at the begin of the internet: Being the precursor of a movement in Japan, DJ Sharpnel's roots go all the way back to some of the earliest hardcore techno music released in Japan, and the act has gone on to enjoy worldwide popularity in the hardcore scene, even inspiring the creation of the term "J-Core". DJ Sharpnel's label Sharpnelsound has also hosted artists such as m1dy, M-Project, and The Speed Freak, and formerly managed the Hardrave Radio online radio station. DJ Sharpnel is a group made up of Jea and Lemmy; while Lemmy originally acted as a producer as well, she has transitioned mainly to handling VJ duties for the group's live performances.

Genuine question. Do you see any connection between the Para-Para scene and Dj Sharpnel? Are they conencted in some way? You seem knowlegdable on the topic and to me itÄs an interesting topic how the japanese electronic music scene developed in the mid to late 2000s.

​@@peffiSC2source I guess they are completely different in many aspects, mainly because para-para is the original name for their dancing moves which has another kind of spiritual meaning in japanese culture , while the music is mostly composed by italian eurobeat producers who initially started producing Hi-NRG music in the late 80's. But it's also a fact that Konami's Dance Dance Revolution first release in 1998 had a direct influence for most of the japanese hardcore underground scene artists.
