Well I'm not surprise if Panasonic & Daikin was classified as premium product because I have two pair of Panasonic single fan ODU/IDU install since 2010-2011 have no malfunction except for the 9,000 BTU unit sometimes malfunction due to the thermistor but now everything are fine !!.

Absolutely not unfortunately. Plagued with issues. Poor build quality. Regular compressor and hic PCB failures. Poor quality could etc.
