LEV4 is the vapor injection for the compressor in heat mode during very cold weather. It lowers the compression ratio to achieve two thing: first, increase the head pressure in heating, second, it keeps the system energy efficient. And that’s how these systems can still operate in very low ambient conditions in the winter. Great work man. Love your video.

Why do we push the oil in to the accumulator and not a compressor?

Inside of the accumulator there are 2 oil pickup tubes. While the compressor is running, its constantly returning oil from the accumulator.
