This is originally a lyric (poem) by the Egyptian poet, Ahmad Shawqi. It was set to music by Muhammad abd el-Wahab decades ago, and he sang it. Later on, Nour el-Houda recorded a live performance of the song. The poet speaks of his (what I think it is) first love for a country/village girl -- his feelings at the time and her reactions to his feelings of love.
