I know he is using some launchpads and an Akai Apc40, but whats the device placed above the APC? Anyone knows, it looks a bit like a Kaoss Pad, but it definitely is something else!

Oh lol, I started looking for touchpad effects and found it's a Kaoss Pad Quad! He probably routes one channel or a bus to the Kaoss pad and it then goes seperately into the mixer. It's probably for extra texture.
