nice guide, but why did you remove the motherboard? As long as you are careful when removing the old battery there is no need to remove the motherboard, so the section of your video from 1.51 to 2.42 is unnecessary. And also, it's worth pointing out that when removing the bottom plate be very careful not to wedge or pry anything too far under the plate as you try and loosen it because the delicate motherboard is directly underneath (the same is true for the main body plate as well).

What is the name of spray you use to clean under battery

It appears to be a Russian brand called Rexant can't seem to find what the active ingredient is but any electronics safe (ie non-conductive) solvent would do the job most likely. You can get Isopropyl Alcohol in aerosol cans like that which would fit the bill do be aware that some brands also sell 70% Isopropyl Alcohol as a disinfectant or sanitizer this is not the one you want, get the 99.9% stuff typically this will be marketed as electronics cleaner anyway. The 70% stuff is no good as the remaining 30% is mostly water and it's unlikely to be distilled water either even before you exposed it to the air and it promptly forms a weak carbonic acid solution which is conductive anyway.

Once you removed the original adhesive you can't guarantee that it will still be as good as it was. so the answer would be no.

Not a complete video.. you missed how to initially open the back cover which is sealed with glue. Most of people use hair dryer to initially melt the glue to make space to insert a card etc. to pry open.

My wifi stoped working after the replacement of the battery (cannot find any network) or ..to be more precise - phone can find wifi network but it has to be just next to router ... What could be the reason? I did all the recomanndation for this problem (including hard reset) but without any succcess ...

I don't need a waterproof phone and whoever designed this phone should be slapped. I have older phones and change batteries all the time and carry extra charged batteries with me ,just in case mine dies on me. So if I was lost in the bush somewhere and my phone died , I would be screwed with this crappy phone. My old phone is perfect. If I dropped it in the water, I can always just pop it open and dry out the inside in the hot sun. Another phone I have has a damaged charging USB connector , I just carry charged batteries around and have dedicated battery chargers. If you damage the USB plug on this phone , you can throw this stupid phone away. The waterproof feature of this phone is next to useless anyway. Just be a little careful with your phone. The % of phones that get water inside are so low as to not be a concern. It is a stupid protective feature that you don't need.

@@BigBSinclair I think the marketing idea implied that people use one cell phone, average, for 1,5-2 years. The battery lifetime is 1,5-3 years. So, no one needs to replace batteries or repair phones. They give a 1-year warranty + additional 1-3 years seller insurance. Also, they hoped for a mobile exchange program. As usual, something goes wrong... and we have what we have. What to say if this repair is difficult even for an average qualified specialist.
