@ The Common Danger. Do another search on KZbin for replacing the battery on the iPhone SE-2nd Gen. I found a video where it took the guy about 15 minutes to remove the screen & then the battery. The Title for this video should read: ''Disassembling The Entire iPhone SE-2nd Gen.......

😂 what the hell was this? Folks you do not have to pull all that off to replace the battery. It’s super simple. The first metal piece he took off at the beginning pull that, then pop the tab connection for the battery. Then pull the sticky sealant like he did at the end and the battery will come out. You do not have to pull the whole damn phone apart.

I have no excuse ) I guess we had thoughts that the sticky tabs were drying well and welded the battery to the frame(it really happens). Anyway, your scenario is real but I wish it happened each time we replace batteries.

Sorta complicated isn't it? I mean on the channel I just went to, it was like 10 minutes to remove the battery. I mean I'll say this, If I ever needed/wanted to disassemble my entire SE-2nd Gen iPhone, your video would help big time, but for just a regular battery removal, not gonna work... MD....

Hi, usually the battery removal takes 2-5 minutes. Most of the time we receive old smartphones where the adhesive tags are dried and the battery kind of welded down to the housing. So we have to do mumbo-jumbo things to remove it. The idea of the manufacturer is - just pull out the tags does not work for old ones.

Why do you need to tear down the whole phone just to replace the battery? Besides, your handiwork is totally unimpressive.

@tz .You don't need to disassemble the entire phone. Just lift the screen & keep it to the right & if you're careful I don't think the screen needs to be removed because the Battery Plugs into the Circuit Board about 1 inch above the bottom of the Battery.. Best if you do another search because this video can be really confusing if you're not a phone repair person, or at least a great DIY-er..... (That is why there isn't a ton of comments saying thank you.)......MD.....
