Yes, with the baffle the D@D is deeper, but with the cams it was cool to hear the lope with no baffle.

I just bought aome 2013 muscle wheels and some avon cobras to go on my 07 nrs. If you vheck my link you will see a video sunday. I get tue bike bavk saterday I needed to buy new berrings and I dont have a press. I powder coated the muscle wheels flat black and the rear pulley high gloss black

I have an 06 Night Rod, with the D&D pipe, but mine is baffled, I also have the Screaming Eagle Cams and Injectors with the Intake, also I have left the air cleaner un-covered as instructed too, on the dyno I get 143hp@8800rpm and 82ftlbs@7800rpm this is at the rear wheel, and it runs great. The only downside is fuel mileage?

The V@H is baffeled and tuned with a SEPST. The D@D is a power robber, but sounds good, lol. It's going to a new exhaust soon, so byby loud power robber.

Great video man. Strange though, I like the way the V&H sounds compared to the D&D but I prefer the style of the D&Ds on the all black bike over the V&H. Go figure. Guess you can't have your cake and eat it too. Although, who knows, maybe the D&Ds sound just right with the baffles. Would like to hear THAT combo!

I know you have been asked the same questions over and over again. but I currently have an 05 V-Rod with the Vance & Hines exhaust. now it's not the two into one. is that sound specific to that exhaust pipe. or did you change out the baffles. I've run mine with open baffles before. and it's loud but it just doesn't sound like yours. can you tell me what you did. Thanks in advance

I've had many different and I'll say a big cube evo engine with some short 2-2 exhaust is pretty damn loud. Although they didn't have much go.

No, actually a very docile bike as long as you stay off the throttle. All the weight is low, so it makes for a very easy bike to control.

I figured as long as you don't go crazy and haul ass everywhere, it should be pretty easy to get the hang of it.

+Gerardo Ortiz my first street bike is a 2012 10th anniversary v-rod with stage 1 screamin' eagle kit and V&H 2 into 1. Just take it easy and don't get into the throttle too much at first. Work your way up gradually getting used to the power and the weight. You'll be fine.

Nope, the V&H still has its baffle. It's just as loud as the D&D without it.

Keep it in for now. The video makes the D&D sound crappy, but it actually sounded pretty good. The black one is cammed and no baffle let you hear the lope.
