Nevermind I figured out how. So when you are in the design (for hair) click on the hair you want to change then at the top right at materials press duplicate at the colours then the second one will be the colour for the hair you chose then when you go into texture there will be more hair files hope this helps :3

you can also do it when you select one of the hair groups "freehand/procedural groups"

You'll get it with time/practice! A lot of learning VRoid is playing with settings and trying things for yourself, eventually things start to click!

i’m guessing you can put them into their own bone group separate from the hair

Simply rightclick on the colour Slot and choose duplicate, then adjust it to whatever colour you want.

you don't import them, you just do them on top of your model's hairstyle.

go into any paint tool such as photoshop, krita, medibang paint pro, paint tool sai (everything i mentioned after photoshop is free too) press CTRL+T to transform the object, then there should be an option to flip your image. then save, export as a new file and import that texture into vroid

Thank you for this! I have a question though. When I duplicate and flip the ear, the tip of the new flipped ear has a different shape than the original. Is this something that cannot be helped or did I do something wrong?

That happens sometimes, unfortunately. Just keep playing with the shape/settings until you get what you want!
