I'm still hoping for a return of megabots. The world needs giant robot battles. Mk1 should have been upgraded to fight kuratas on a more even footing, much earlier and much cheaper. Mk 2 should have been built after the kuratas fight as a proper introduction to the league. I still have hope

Carefull recommeding this kind of investments. Usually this companies with a "product" get the money from kickstarter people, develop the technology.. then they sells this tech to a bigger company (example: roomba secuirty remote) , and the original company gets closed. now if they were called something like "Remote Robot Technologies" and ONE of their products "the Drone Remote League", In that company i would REALLY invest.

Hey, I have a great idea. Why don’t you and Hacksmith industry’s collaborate with each other, they are currently making the Power Loader from Alien, and it will be fully functional. I suggest checking it out. Also on a bissness scale, they would have a great team to build a robot, or any other thing. They also mentioned you briefly in their latest video, so wanna try it?

It's a little tricky because they are in canada. Also it needs to be a two-way street. They would send a lot of subscribers my way (they're a bigger channel)... what can I give them in return?
@JP111554 жыл бұрын
MegaBots Inc well, you are good at what you do, in this case building and engineering robots. They would appreciate the help of an extra engineer, also what person can apply for a collaboration and say with confidence that you built a giant fighting robot, FROM SCRATCH that worked and you built 2 of them, don’t forget that the robot didn’t just have hands, they had chainsaws, paintball cannons, giant paintball shotguns, and a grabbing arm with tracks! You also have commitment, and determination. They would love your help because what guy applying would have done all of that stuff. you will be of great value also not to mention that the giant fighting robots worked for a long time and you got to fight in front of so many crowds! They would value you greatly, and they know you exist so it in-forces the work you could do and you could be a great start to a new branch of engineering. Trust me. Don’t give up, keep trying, it’s not the end of MegaBots yet. You are a skilled engineer, With many people who look up to you. You also have the imagination, you are also upbeat, kind, and happy and have a great work ethic. People are rooting for you and look up to you, they want to see more MegaBots. Applying skills wise won’t be that hard since they know MegaBots and they know you and what you guys have done the past few years. That’s what YOU give to them, and that is truly special. No one can say that you have no experience or skill. You will bring skill, great ideas, hard work. I am rooting for you, and so is everyone else. Don’t give up. Do this, for the future of MegaBots.

@@GoGunCo Lary may be going hard on the caps lock there, but please don't let their exuberance deter you away from the topic of their post. Public safety was also the first thing on my mind seeing these fly near a highway. I don't want to imagine the kind of pile up that would happen if someone plunged a drone into someone's windshield. The life loss and damage would potentially be horrendous and the resulting public backlash would absolutely kill the sport. As SECONDQUEST mentions down below, I'm sure they plan to implement some kind of gps fencing, but that was never addressed in the video here and it's a legitimate concern that needs to be handled with caution.
