Thanks for the info! I ordered a VRSF downpipe for my F30, but the installer is telling me it will be 4 more weeks for VRSF to ship out the downpipe with the high temp coating. Can't wait to get it installed!

Hey ProjictF30 I just installed a Active Autowerke FMIC ,catback exhaust, and a ER catted down pipe and charge pipe with bootmod3 stage 2 on my 2016 F30 328i, and I used your video again for my install because I think it is the best diy for downpipe on a F30 328i, thanks again.

I have a Daily 2014 M-Sport and the downpipe did absolutely nothing for the car. It seems like it took away bottom end Power vs the back pressure of the cat

unplug the connector at the flap while it's open, this will keep it always open. Or there's an option in Bootmod3 tune. I did the first option (When I still had my muffler)

I found those v-clamps/gasket on bmwpartspros.com. Search under OEM parts for your specific model, and look around the exhaust sub menu. Should have an exploded diagram for the OE dp that has both the gasket, and v-band clamp. In addition you need the 2nd v-band clamp that goes between the dp, and the mid pipe. My '16 228i n26 was #'s 2,3,6. 18307581970, 18307606136, 18308632361. $80 total. Hope that helps.

well I don't know what you mean by stock tune. I run a stage 2 bm3 tune and you can clear codes.

This code or CEL will not show if you get it tuned by BM3 or if you use the high-flow down pipe and FMIC upgrade tune.

Josh Heineman I bought for my motor, N26. There is a difference so make sure you pick up the right one. ER and VRSF both make great catless DPs for N26. I heard Wagner has one too. Stay away from Circuit Werks.
