VRSIC PASS SLOVENIA // End of October // KTM 1290 Super Adventure R

The Vrsic Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.611m (5,285ft) above the sea level, located across the Julian Alps in northwestern Slovenia and one of the highest in the country. The cobble stones in the corner are very characteristic for this relatively bumpy road. They are a reminder of its past as military road.
This pass was one of the first passes I ever experienced in the Alps in 2016 on my BMW R 1200 GS. I decided to retrace part of my steps from the first trip in 2016, so I came back in 2019 to ride this pass a second time and now a third time in late October 2021 in beautiful autumn colors (and some rain).
