Those rear shocks look tough. Haven’t done enough study on oil weights tho. Don’t really know what I should be looking for on the suspension side of it.
@rccrazy4 жыл бұрын
Yeah they are nice and strong 👌 for my massive jump style for 1/10 cars i like 55w (725cst) in the rear and 45w (610cst) in the front but you may want a bit softer, these GPM shocks feel like 80w 🤯 solid! And that's even after changing to softer springs! Good for heavy 1/8 cars 😅

@@rccrazy thanks Saul. I’ll have to look at purchasing some of this oil.

Oh and if you still need them or actually want them iv started the alloy shock towers so let me know, all good if not
@angesrc4 жыл бұрын
@@rccrazy yeah for sure man. Just for now to get by I’ve made a thicker 10mm shock tower out of the same material which is holding up at the moment ,but I’d still prefer an aluminium one. And Don’t worry I haven’t forgotten about our catch up !. I’ve been working seven days a week for the past two months. 🏗👷🏼♂️.

I need that front bumper! Too bad it’s coming from Australia 🇦🇺 and shipping to US is too expensive!
@rccrazy2 жыл бұрын
You can get the bumpers from many places, just google FTX or VRX bumpers, im sure Banggood and Aliexpress have them. I buy locally (Aus) for the same reason mate, too expensive shopping internationally.

Yeah they aren't too bad, mine is no good anymore, diffs won't last more than 5mins from new🤔
@tottalytoast73944 жыл бұрын
i think the diffs are dying because your giving it too much power, i saw a comment you replied too saying that the cobra isnt on your reccomendations but i have never had a diff problem ever and i have given it abuse, so much abuse in fact i have already snapped the body shell in half, but the diffs are still going strong, so in my book i love the cobra and would reccomend it, please answer if im wrong
@rccrazy4 жыл бұрын
That's fine mate, if you would recommend it that's up to you. I wouldn't personally for my bash style because in stock form there not very strong, many upgrades were needed to get this car running good, many weeks of pay for someone in my situation! Check out the newer video's to see how its going now (ramp session videos)

Nice! I really like those anodized swing arm upgrades! Been considering getting one of these. Do you reckon it's better than the HSP?
@rccrazy4 жыл бұрын
Shiny! 😁 So, its a amazing car to drive, but I would not recommend getting one! I think I was very lucky to get a consistently working cobra because iv only heard bad things about them, the main issue being the differentials (the worst)

@rccrazy4 жыл бұрын
No the alloy parts are upgrade parts, the plastic parts are very weak so the upgrades are essential!

If you know how to make a few little DIY braces and mounts that will also be something to think about, oh and get a couple spear differentials, they're a bit weak 🤏 🤘👍
