smart homes are usually controlled from a device like a home tablet/ your phone. well I personally haven't come across a home that only requires you to us only your voice. u can easily unlock your house front door whilst in your car outside, using your tablet.

I heard your comment about the alexa feature of the Ghana house. You know in smart home installation, the alexa, tuya, google assistant etc, are the voice function of a whole installation, you would have another control from your mobile device too. Lastly, you can always have an offline installation if you were bothered about hacking

Yes, most homes come furnished. Most people on the continent (Accra & Abuja) also pay cash for their homes, so you own the house by the time you move in. People pay cash for their homes because mortgages are ridiculously high at 15% or higher rates so most residence opt for cash. Lol so no one is kicking you out of your house. Not even Alexa 😂 They got money money. Keep in mind that financing is not common as we are used to in the US. Just fyi: I’m 🇬🇭 living in the 🇺🇸

No, power goes out anytime the gods of power wills it and comes on whenever they want it to. In some cases you can decipher a method to their madness and a pattern develops and thus you adjust accordingly. It is not uncommon for homes and businesses to run entirely on their own power supply. This adds tremendously to the operating cost.

Concerning the power issue in Nigeria, it differs in different places actually. In some estates like the in the video, if there was to be any power outage and I don't think they'd feel it, as they have certain facilities to help generate their own power. People don't really rely on power supply from NEPA, they make arrangements for their own. Where I am now, it's constant because I'm in an estate where tenants club together to buy fuel and also the house I'm in has an inverter. Most of my friends have inverters so, technically they have 24hrs light and its a seamless switchover. I've spent time in Ghana a while ago and they also have "light off" just not as often as the average place in Nigeria. They do have it though. I've never gone 10 days without power supply in Abuja and I've been here for close to 2 years and have visited before moving here, about 10 times.

As for me don’t let us judge ACCRA and ABUJA with mansion Moreover I watched some videos on KZbin about few days ago where by they are making the comparism between this ACCRA in question with LAGOS and one thing about those Ghanaian is that they don’t even want to bow for Lagos cities and this Lagos net worth is even richer that GHANA 😅😅😅 so how come are you comparing ACCRA with LAGOS

@@fidelisbanaaleh6980 yeap we all know the is farer better than so called luxury, but this Ghanaian don’t even know their country mate for the fact that they know what they are doing they shouldn’t compare ACCRA with ABUJA anymore. Paraventual, they only have this ACCRA in question as their own country the most beautiful and not know that there are much more places in LAGOS, ABUJA Nigeria that are even beautiful more than the luxury that they are comparing between each other

The accra property is expensive for what it offers.Haven't said that if the Abuja property was in maitama or Asokoro in Abuja, which is the equivalent of cantonment in Accra it would be more than one million dollars.Abuja is the richest capital city in Africa, any investment there would always yield greater returns than Accra, area for area. I agree with the smart house thing,Africans don't realise the danger and disadvantages of these smart features yet. This is going to be the new crime, virtual burglars, hackers etc.

I do not gree totally with Steve on the price and profitability of the Accra over the Abuja. Wuye may not be centrally located and thus outside the affordability index of residence inn near by towns but if used as a short let apartment, it will earn more cash flow that the Accra's. Plus the Abuja property cost more than the Accra. Although both are valued at $1m , due to the cedi's decimalization, the Accra property is cheaper.

IMHO the Accra house is already at the top of the market price wise, due to it being in one of the most expensive areas of Accra. Abuja, the land itself will go up in value every year as more buildings are constructed. There is room for the market to move upwards.
