VS HSV enhanced commodore gets fresh 2k paint on the roof and bonnet with a mirror finish hail dents removed and worm rust gone

I had a vs Maloo with botanic mica green. That’s what I’m thinking of painting my hg wagon in. How will you get the grass out of the clear?

Not a bad colour. I got the grass out with a quick sand, and a buff came out easy with a elbow grease lol

Not all I had a factory V8 Acclaim not many but was an option in the day

@@orestosgarage Was it a VS ? I know back in the day the Police package on the VR/ VS series pretty much SS spec in an executive body along with the SS seats . Just saying that I never heard of this option before with the acclaim series.

@96libertytt that’s correct. There was no way to option a V8 into an Acclaim, but you know, my uncle’s brother in law knows a guy who drank at a pub with the boss of Holden and special ordered one……. Same story with magical factory manual Acclaims….. Acclaim was a set pack aimed at fleets with very few options. This car has the optional power windows (2 or 4) which could be fitted at dealer level or factory (if ordered) and the spoiler could have been dealer fitted (as many were) or by a subsequent owner. No HSV-e tag on this, and nothing on it that HSV would have touched…. All the correct factual info is right there in the VS sales brochure too.
