In my headcanon, Jango got tired of the lifestyle after losing Rozatta and having to kill Zam but still wanted to carry on the legacy of Jaster Mereel. As such, he swapped himself out with a clone in his armor and let Boba watch him inevitably die in order to kickstart his life as a warrior through the pain of loss.

Mandalorians dont see it as anything negative. Aliens like Bane got scope like eyes. So you can't see it human against human. In Mandalore yozr armor is part of you. You modify it, earn each piece. But most, including Jango and Boba learn perfect aim without from childhood. The aimbot jzst pushes it above human possebilities. Magnet gloves beat muscle movement. And thus Hango would beat Bane to the draw, with little to no leatgal target for him in the first place.

I agree with you, while I personally think Bane is a better bounty hunter overall, showing intelligence and wit and knowing how to gain leverage without combat and is a master at stealth and breaking and entering, there is no denying that Jango is the better combatant, his, the problem with Bane is rather simply he was use to fighting Jedi, who fight without armor most of the time, the only advantage I think you didn't mention about Bane was his surprises, he knew how to keep parts of his equipment secret and spring them when they would do the most damage, I don't think it would win him the battle but I feel it should be worth mentioning

Jango, Boba, and pretty much any Mandalorian worth anything would be able to beat Bane even without their trademark armorsuit. This is kind of off topic for this video, but since the council forcecast is looking back at various legends content, do you think you guys could ever look at the SWTOR cinematics and maybe do analysis on the fights. I know a few of the members have said the cinematics are some of the best representations of lightsaber combat visually so it would be cool to have all the members talk about what they like in the vids, and even spliced together they're only like 20 minutes long so it could be done in one episode. Just think it would be a cool thing to see. If not that's totally understandable since you guys already have a lot on your plates to cover.

Yup. I would even dare say that a bout between Adult Ahsoka and Vosa would probably play out exactly the same as her fight with the Seventh Sister. First, a lightsaber duel, with Ahsoka easily keeping pace. Then hand to hand, where Ahsoka would trump Vosa, delivering kicks and tosses. This would lead into a fight with the Force (such as her catching SS's saberhilt), where again Ahsoka would defeat Vosa simply through superior training and experience.

The thing with Jango is that he has shown the ability to ignore pain, such as when he fell due to a jet pack malfunction, yet immediately got up and got back to the task at hand. The best Cad’s electric gauntlets could do is cause Jango’s muscles to tense up and stiffen him so he can’t move for a few seconds, which could give him a chance, but if not then Jango would still have the upper hand.

Plus I thought it would be funny to see two hard to kill characters fight each other. It never was strictly Star Wars Versus to begin with. Harry Potter VS was my third VS, then I added Mass Effect and then Avatar. But it's never been just Star Wars, nor strictly VS for that matter (let's plays and random geek talks/reviews). And before that there were no VS at all, just short films, and before that it was vlogs. But never at any point has it been strictly Star Wars VS. You should be very aware of this. You first came to the channel on Maul vs Malgus, which was preceded by Snape vs Bellatrix (Harry Potter) and followed by Jack vs Liara (Mass Effect), which was followed by Katara vs Amon (Avatar), and THEN another Star Wars match up came up in Anakin vs Galen.

It would be interesting at least to me to see them fight against death watch, boba or jango themselves, maybe alpha-17 vs null-arc or maybe even a crossover like an arc trooper vs deathstroke? or delta squad vs odst There are several other videos about force user vs force user so it would be intersting highlighting other non-force users a cool popular oneI have not seen done well yet would be a grievous or vader vs arbiter fight or a team battle of vader and boba vs anakin and jango Whether or not you make this episodes I hope you consider them regardless I will end up watching your channel. Grand Admiral Thrawn vs Grand Moff Tarken [To explain the idea, it would be in a larger combat scenario with them as tacticians and commanders rather then the two going straight at it. I disagree with your verdict, though I see how you arrived there. Bane was the type of hunter and fighter who knew exactly what he needed to win each fight. He didn't overcompensate or underestimate his foes. And every one of his foes had at least one huge advantage on him, since most of the time they were other renouned bounty hunters or Jedi. I think it's interesting he had very little trouble dispatching a clone troopers and palace guards, despite both being the very best in combat, trained form an early age/by the best. Their vastly superior and conditioned training and superior armour didn't save them. Kenobi wasn't trying to kill Jango, he still needed information from him. On the other hand, Anakin, one of, if not the most powerful jedi of his time tried on multiple occasions to kill Bane, and failed. And we've seen how worthless in combat the 'typical jedi knight' is, in reference to jango's feat in the snow. How many of them die willy nilly across the clone wars and in the films (specifically in the same battle jango dies). Bane would out-think Jango. Jango has better armor, of course he does. He is arguably stronger, yes. Bane is used to fighting against those odds. He's like moriarty, he is the smartest person in the room. He would know the weaknesses of Mandalorian armor, eno doubt, even if he didn't know exactly how good of a fighter jango was. Also, the jet pack is a HUGE liability, as we've seen multiple times across canon for several different characters. and it doesn't take much to deactivate or explode a jet pack (ahsoka vs pre visla, jango's death and boba's 'death' as well. and recently Sabine losing hers to one well placed shot). The lord of the sith trusted Bane to break into the jedi archives and steal their most important secret. A feat not seen since (and I may be wrong here, cause there are massive gaps in my star wars lore knowledge) that time a Visla took the dark saber during a sith invasion of the temple. Bane is up against people who can physically dominate him all the time and he's always victorius because he more often than naught uses their gifts against them. I think you put more stock in legends compared to what we see in canon. Not that I'm dissing legends, but I think when they are well, incompatible with canon, it makes things more difficult to judge, and we usually go with what looks or sounds cooler rather than what's an honest interperetation of a character. The jango who fights kenobi on camino barely got out of that alive, with all his superior weaponry and strength. (he even had Slave I's blaster fire as cover). He let multiple chances go, like when kenobi was on his back, he could've shot him one two with his blasters. However, Bane bested kenobi due to his ability to use the tools he had effectively, and kenobi and Voss only left that encounter alive because they had each other watching their backs. Anakin only survived because he had Ahsoka and kenobi looking out for him. Ahsoka only lived because she was a barganing chip. Bane would never under estimate a man with the reputation Jango has. Bane would never have engaged in that fracas in the arena, because he's not stupid. Anything can happen on a battlefield. Jango severely overestimated his own abilities on a battlefield and failed to adapt, very badly. He failed to realise his last line of defense had vanished. Jango's never had to fight another person who was tactically smarter than him. He has a predictable fighting style (cycling through his weapons methodically), whereas bane always is able to adapt per each opponent. When it comes down to it, Bane would out think Jango. Jango is a great physical fighter who often gets the better of opponents like jedi and more prideful mandolorians because they under estimate how dangerous he is (like the jedi that day in the snow, and obi-wan. And I think Windu got lucky about the jet pack, cause then that would've been a great fight to see.) Bane would not underestimate him, he would devise a series of tactics to bring Jango down, much like he does with every foe he comes across. And then he would use his deft skills to incapacitate and then kill the Fett. That ended up being longer than I thought it'd be. I liked your video, and can't wait for the next one.

Blaed13 so a few things here, obi wan was above anakin, this was shown and proven several times, and mace windy was leagues above anakin and mace even said that jango could have beaten him had his Jett pack not have been taken off line, it should also be noted jango has beaten many renowned Jedi in head to head combat even killing a few of them, whilst bane has not, bane had used escape tactics to get away from said Jedi but has never really beaten one, much less killed one, plus jango was such a skilled and respected bounty hunter that he was not only entrusted with sidious' plans of order 66 but was even hired by dooku to be his personal body guard. Is it a doubt that bane was the better bounty hunter, no, but who was the better fighter and who would win in a fight, it's no doubt jango, and this isn't something that can be argued, atleast not with reason, it's simble, jango was a warrior, whilst bane was a rogue, in head to head combat no amount of tricks will win him the day.

Nice video. Well noted and explained. The part of the bounty hunters code book also lists some armor stats for jango in the deathwatch field manual in the back. It has some upgrades listed for boba as well, scrawled in the side, for use in future videos. At one point, he used a JT-12 jetpack. At another, he used a Z6. Both the Z-6 and JT-12 had a fuel tank that held enough fuel for one minute of continuous operation (20 three-second blasts). Each three-second blast moved the wearer up to 100 meters horizontally or 70 meters vertically. A user of standard height and weight could reach a top speed of 145 kilometers per hour with a maximum range of two kilometers. Not sure if that limit would have helped or hindered Cad.

It was hard to find any versus videos featuring Cad Bane when I first started searching for them a couple of years ago, and it is still hard to find any of them now. Either of the Fetts would defeat Bane, definitely. Though yes I agree, Cad Bane is fairly cool and just because he would lose to Jango/Boba doesn't make him not powerful. He's just (personally) not THAT cool or interesting to me. There's so many more interesting and "cooler" bounty hunters out there (mainly talking about the EU). I don't have a problem with Bane, it's just, he's one of those characters that has tons of dickriders who SEVERELY overrate and overpower him. (not saying he's weak or shit, just saying he's no where near the Tier his dickriders put him at.)

Well, well, well... Someone's been very thorough with his research on bounty hunters. ;) If Cad Bane's no match for Jango Fett, I don't think he can beat Boba, either. Cad may be a snake, but Jango's a lion with stronger armor and better equipment. Of course, didn't you notice that Cad snapped the neck of Senate Commando Captain Jayfon with his own bare arms? Takes a lot of muscle to do that.

Solid matchup and I agree with the outcome in a scenario where both are dropped in cold. After thinking on it a bit though, I don't see that as a very likely scenario and Cad Bane is clearly a better schemer than Jango. While Jango is no idiot, his overconfidence and warrior's mentality can put him in risky situations while Bane seems much better at stage managing his opponents, carefully analyzing what they are bringing to the table. I think it's quite possible for Bane to find a way around Jango's superior equipment and physicality--we're talking about the same bounty hunter that (with no preparation in advance) evaded two Jedi Masters in a running conflict and lived to tell the tale. Granted, Cad had some outside help in that fight but so did Jango against Obi Wan on Kamino (cover fire from Slave I)--and that Kenobi wasn't anywhere near his peak yet.
