If you haven't turned on the auto captions and then seen its interpretation of Todd Anderson saying, "Wren and Six seems nice" at 10:06, please do so. So worth it.

Can we see more games of this Izzet deck? Maybe with Faerie Seer instead of Faerie Miscreant...I think that it makes Wizard’s Retort more efficent and also smooths our draws

5:15 - you're not going to use Angrath's Rampage against Bogle decks. They're normally going to have a Leyline of Sanctity out, which wrecks targeted sacrifice effects.

I think the pitch deck we may see will be featuring ninjas. They have built in curious obsession and bouncing creatures either to pitch them or to reuse their etbs will be a lot of value. Plus, they have higher cmcs for disrupting shoal.

I feel like at 33:18 todd should have flashed back looting, because it would play around the counter, still allowing him to keep a land in hand(if looting got countered to cast seasoned. The prowess trigger would have been lethal or forced the block on reveler.

He AGAIN mentioned hooting vs mongoose being about the “premium removal” being bolt and fatal push when BOTH OF THOSE CANT TARGET MONGOOSE! I’m not saying that hoots is better, but I just don’t like how he JUST mentioned shroud then immediately forgets that bolt and push do nothing vs it
@gonar15 жыл бұрын
You're missing the point. Todd is saying that both cards avoid those spells, and that hooting mandrils is otherwise a better creature.

Why on Earth would they? The whole point of the series is to discuss card interactions, lines of play, sideboard tech etc. Them talking is literally the entire point.
