Ok, WOW. I was NOT expecting something of this level for a theme because the final version is a hella lot LESS intense than this one. I like it!

This feels like it would fit the final battle against General Serpentine a lot more than the "formal" feel of the BFF-2000 boss theme for the 3rd time; more "alien" and panicky like his other battle themes, with this one in particular sounding like you're fighting a pretty huge machine too

This actually sounds like a proper boss theme than the current version. Something more in line with the music from the first game. Just what where the composers thinking?

The lead composer (me) didn't get to choose what songs were used and what weren't -- not our job, typically. FWIW, I like this song, too. :3

no clue, this one must've been replaced extremely quick though since the final one already existed before the game was even officially announced, but at a slower speed

@@callmeninaiced Woofle (one of the composers ) replied to another comment of mine a few days ago. Apparently she's didn't had any input on how her music would be used in the game, and admitted that some of the "boss themes" weren't meant to be boss themes in the first place.
