Oi nah, the main road we used in this video is legit not public hahaha they get gates closed after a certain time, don't even have a street name. Not too shabby for a dead stock getrag manual Ute, with just a catback eBay exhaust and 3.73 diff gears eh 😏🤙 The diff gears are the best, most underrated bang for your buck mod for these series of commodores man! Nothing beats the amount of torque you gain just by swapping the ratio for how little it costs to do. $200 mod and it's basically the same jump in power as dropping an l67 supercharher in it hahaha 😂🤘

I sure did mate, sent my t5 flywheel and l67 flex plate to Melbourne to get mirror balanced 👌 I can’t remember the exact name of the shop, but in the industrial area of mount druitt is a clutch and brake shop, that sorted it all out for me and sent the flywheel away, as well as drilling and installing dowels into the crank for me, cost me $350 total for balancing and dowels drilled plus 2 snapped crank bolts removed.. I pulled the box, clutch and everything off myself though, and then put the car back together myself after they did the crank and flywheel for me

How hard is it to install these diff gears at home?

@@Anthony-fq9ct If it’s a solid/live axle, fairly straight forwards. Just pull the hubs off, pull the axles out and get the centre out from the diff hat and the pinion gear from the tail shaft flange. But irs diffs are a bit more complicated internally from what I know, when it comes to removing the centre and re installing. But there’s plenty of videos on how to change diff gears on a borgwarner 78 or bw78 diff, which is a vr/vs solid diff. Then the m80 is the irs

@@Anthony-fq9ct I did my first set of diff gears in my vs whilst on my L plates at 16 years old, on my own after reading a forum online and finding a set of 3.7 gears on fb marketplace for $200, having basically only oil changing experience when it came to mechanical experience and knowledge at that stage. 3 months later I was doing engine swaps hahaha It’s all about just researching what you can, and then just giving it a go and when you get stuck, do more research and you’ll get it in the end. That’s how I’ve learnt to do everything I do when it comes to cars. I’ve never had mechanical training or worked in the trade, just searched what I needed to know on KZbin or google and went from there haha

Yeah they can see we do skids, but if our face or license plate is in the clip, then that means that clip does not have enough evidence of the location for us to ever be charged. If you see plates in the video, it means it's either not a road thats open to the public so not a prooer street or anything, or it's somewhere that can never be proven. When you get charged for a crime, it's innocent until proven guilty. If it comes down to it they won't have enough evidence Hopefully it doesn't come down to it though 😂
